flights?
Anyone have a suggestion on best flights to get there? We would leave from PHL (Philadelphia, or a surrounding airport). I can't find any non-stops!
Thanks, Jill |

The closest non-stop I can find from North America is, I kid you not, Air Canada out of YYZ in Toronto. That is the major problem these days. There are also charter flights for certain weeks. Check the board. I posted the air fares and dates in the "Airlines Servicing Grenada" Forum.
Starting Dec. 19/05 and every Monday after that thru March 20th. It's a non-stop direct flight on an Airbus A-319, and takes exactly 5 hours and 10 min. to Grenada. You leave Toronto at 9:00 am and arrive at Grenada in the early afternoon at 3:15 pm. You are restricted to 1 or 2 weeks only from CA$639 return . Air Canada has no direct flights competition going into Grenada. I always wonder why no Canadian charter airline has not set up flights from Toronto to Grenada non-stop year round. About 30,000 Grenadians live in the Greater Toronto Area who like to go home every summer or so for holidays. Combined them with the Canadian tourists who want to get away from the winter, wet springs, and gray fall days, they should be able to make it pay well with just a little advertising in Toronto. .
