Hi Jim
Just want to thank you for inviting me to your forum. I have vacationed on Grenada in 2003. It was one of the best vacations that I have ever had.There were three couples who have gone on this vacation and we rented a villa in Lance Aux Epines, Swallow Villa. The villa was very beautiful and had everything you would want on your vacation. Merel was our house keeper and cook. You couldn't find a sweeter nicer person. The home over looked the harbour on Prickly Bay. I really enjoyed the beach there also. It was not over crowded and we enjoyed the bar and resturant on the beach. We did a lot of touring of the island to the rain forrest( I really enjoyed feeding the monkeys)water falls, forts and prisions, churches. We had lunch at the Belmont Estates where we meet the Prime Minster. My brother-in-law had his picture taken with him. We also went to Anse Beach I thought it was very crowded there but I enjoyed the shopping. One of the days we took the ferry to Carriou and went out to Sandy Island to snorkle. That was a great day. Looking forward to having another wonderful vacation there some day. We are going on a cruise this year that has a stop there. Hopefully we get a chance to stop by and see Merel and go back to Calabash Beach.
